Dirty Dog's Efflo and Calcium
Efflo and Calcium is a multi-surface acid cleaner that removes efflorescence, calcium, calcium carbonate and hard water stains. It is ideal for use on a variety of surfaces, including concrete, bricks, pavers, limestone, sandstone, riverstone, exposed aggregate, stucco, shingles, EIFS, glass, synthetic stone, anodized aluminum, unpolished marble and other surfaces. At stronger concentrations, Efflo and Calcium can be used to etch concrete in preparation for painting or coatings. For Professional Use Only.
Directions:
Note: Always add acid to water, not water to acid. Add 1 part Efflo and Calcium to desired dilution rate up to 1:12 dilution (see dilution rate guide below.) Dilutions will vary based on the severity of the stain and type of surface. Pour cold water into the bucket first, then add product. Always test first to confirm compatibility and desired strength. Test a small out-of-the-way surface prior to cleaning to determine compatibility before broad based use. Pre-clean surface with a pressure washer to remove oil and debris. Mist surface with water so it is damp prior to application. Spray product on surface to be cleaned using a pump up sprayer or hand held sprayer. Surface should foam immediately. Let dwell 20 seconds to 3 minutes. Do not let product dry. Scrub surface as necessary with a hard bristled brush or broom. Let dwell 1-15 additional minutes. Pressure wash and flush the surface after application. For tough stains, repeat application if needed and adjust dilution according to desired results. 1 gallon of Efflo and Calcium covers 200-400′ of porous masonry and up to 1,200’ of sealed or non-porous masonry. Allow surface to dry thoroughly before evaluating final appearance and results. Suggested Dilutions Dilutions will vary based on the severity of the stain and the surface porosity, texture and severity of staining. Thick Calcium Stains and Concrete Prep for Coatings: 1:1 to 1:4 Medium Stains: 1:4 to 1:8 Light Stains: 1:8 to 1:12 Powdery Coverings: 1:12 General Masonry Cleaning: 1:8
